For the latest information, come to one of our meetings.Grab Potok is a refugee settlement a few kilometres from Banoviči. It was visited by MCAB volunteers staying at Banoviči in the summers of 2000 and 2002, and is similar to the centre at Jezevač nearby.

Opportunities for MCAB volunteers

There is one tiny room, and also a big room, which needs to be decorated and for wooden partitions to be made to separate the space into rooms. This would not take long, perhaps a day or two, but needs funding and materials. MCAB volunteers could bring the materials, do the work and then start the activities, which would be a rewarding experience. There are about 150 children registered at the youth centre. Work here, as in any refugee settlement, would be particularly rewarding because there is so little for the refugees, and the children have a boring life, apart from the activities in the youth centre.
