Velika Kladuša is a very small and pleasant town surrounded by green hills. It is right on the border with Croatia, and bus connections with Zagreb are good, although it takes 9 hours to get to Sarajevo. Dom Mladih is a youth centre in the town, which serves many children who were either traumatised or made refugees during the war. It is run by a youth organisation called ‘Dom’.
